Our partnership with Kintsugi is heating up! On the heels of their announcement to join Japan’s $1B DigiDen Digital City Garden Initiative, we’re planning and strategizing with Kintsugi to DNS-enable .Anime and .Manga Web3 domains by applying the gTLDs during the next ICANN initiative. If the application is successful, this will be a significant step forward towards integrating traditional Web2 functionalities into our portfolio of Web3 domains.
Kintsugi is well-known for offering anime fans innovative ways to engage with their favorite shows and characters. Building on our successful partnership that launched .Anime and .Manga domains, we are now working together on a strategy to plan for an application with ICANN on acquiring the gTLD equivalents.
