While Ubisoft and Immutable haven’t said a ton about the actual game itself, they have emphasized two points that piqued our interest:

But, unfortunately in Web3 gaming, too much focus is often put on the blockchain enabled elements, and not enough on the gameplay.
So an emphasis on fun is welcomed.
Here’s what’s not-so-cool about it…
If we had to summarize the most common complaints about Web3 gaming, it’d probably boil down to this:
“Most titles are un-imaginative cash grabs, and are often buggy-as-hell.”
What’s ‘not-so-cool’ is that Ubisoft garners many of the same complaints!
So its adoption of blockchain tech probably won’t do much to help Web3 gaming’s image within the broader market.
All of that said…we don’t care!
