Mocaverse brings us a new set of quests for a game called Anichess, a chess-based puzzle game with a bit of magic thrown in! Participants in this early, limited release, can earn game NFTs for Anichess, and Realm Points for the Mocaverse!
The Mocaverse grows a little more, as they add a new set of quests available for those with a Moca ID. Now Moca ID holders can earn Realm Points by trying out a new game called Anichess, and completing a few quests along the way!
Anichess is free to play. Players can login to Anichess with their wallet (on the Polygon network), or through various social media logins. Once logged in, complete the tutorials and be sure to link your Moca ID to claim your Pawn of Water NFT. There are currently three missions available in the Mocaverse, with more to come soon. You don’t need a Moca ID to play Anichess, but it can’t hurt!

What is Anichess?
Anichess is a web-based, chess/puzzle game that also includes magic spells. A subsidiary of Animoca Brands, Anichess just launched their public, free to play mini-game.
Anichess offers three daily puzzles to users, each a little harder than the last. Players earn points and rewards by completing the puzzles every day, and can earn extra points by completing the puzzles on the first try, and by not using any of the available hints. Players can also unlock a bonus puzzle, by binding Orbs of Power in the ‘Gambit’. Unlocking the daily bonus puzzle requires the Pawn of Water, the Knight of Fire, and the Bishop of Storm. One locked, Orbs cannot be transferred. However they can also be unlocked at any time. Binding all six Orbs in the Gambit unlocks the Power Ring, which has undisclosed (and unavailable at the moment) powers.
Aside from the Orbs of Power existing as NFTs, it’s unclear how much interaction Anichess will have with the blockchain. Additional game modes, spells and other features will be added in future releases.

What is the Mocaverse?
