Yuga Labs announces an upcoming new release for Dookey Dash! This time, they make their their sewer racing game free to play, open it to the general public, and even offer play to earn opportunities with bonuses for holders of certain NFT collections!
Dookey Dash, the sewer racing game that Yuga Labs introduced last year as part of the launch of their HV-MTL collection, is coming back! Though this time, it’s Unclogged! The new version, officially dubbed Dookey Dash Unclogged is planned for release sometime in February. It will be available for mobile devices and on PC. Built in conjunction with Faraway, better known for their development of the web-based shooter Mini-Royale, Dookey Dash Unclogged will be free to play and open to everyone!
Dookey Dash is a perpetual, racing game where players must travel through the sewers, dodging obstacles and grabbing items for points. In typical Yuga Labs fashion, we don’t have a lot of details about the new version. But, we do know what to expect in general.
Dookey Dash Unclogged will include new playable characters and vehicles. It will also have leaderboards, a store to buy coins and various game items with fiat, a ranking system, regular tournaments, a seasonal battle pass, and ‘substantial’ prize pools including ‘Golden Plungers’ and ‘legendary prizes’!
They also mention token benefits for holders of NFTs from the BAYC, MAYC, BAKC, and HV-MTL collections. You can view the trailer on Twitter, and also see some gameplay footage from an early tester.
Keep an eye on the Yuga Labs Gaming Twitter for a launch date announcement.
